Individual Therapy

Clients work collaboratively in a one-on-one setting with their therapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. Clients help guide and structure their sessions to deepen understanding, identify obstacles to goals and solve problems so they can create and sustain a meaningful life.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

As children and adolescents grow, they are continually developing the social skills and emotional intelligence necessary to lead healthy, happy lives. When children or young adults experience emotions or engage in behaviors that interfere with their ability to thrive, they may benefit from the supportive outlet that therapy provides. Through weekly sessions with the child and regular check-ins with the caregiver, the therapist builds a healthy, trusting relationship with the family.

Couples Therapy

For couples, differences in communication styles can lead to misunderstanding and eroded empathy and intimacy. Therapy is often helpful in assisting couples re-establish safety, improve communication and foster mutual respect and closeness.

Family Therapy

We work closely with families of all backgrounds and compositions to provide insight and support and foster empathy and communication. This type of therapy views change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members and emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological well-being.

Clinical Supervision

JPA has a long history of providing supervision to emerging professionals. We provide clinical supervision for MSW and LPC social workers on their road to professional licensure. We provide a supportive and constructive supervisory experience while providing insight into your challenging and meaningful work. Our supervision is tailored to your needs, wants and goals for growth.
